Ladies and Gentlemen!

After several late nights of coding and crying, I proudly present to you a new and improved version of Krishnamoorthi.com!

New Features and Changes -

New Theme
As everyone may have noticed, we’ve got a new theme up and running. I’ve gone for a cleaner look this time with a single sidebar. The theme is called ‘SP142‘ by Ask Design. I have heavily modified the theme to suit my needs. Its been almost a year since a redesign and I thought it was time to have a change. You can view the previous design here.

New Logo
The new header is adorned with a custom made logo by David Airey. You can read the full story about how I won the logo worth $2,000 here. Many thanks to David for coming up with this innovative and unique logo. I have also used the logo for the favicon.

Rotating Header
The new header changes every time you refresh the page. Go ahead, refresh and check! Currently, there are 3 different headers and I plan to add more soon.

Dynamic Stylesheets
This is a bit more geeky and technical side of the website, I’ve enabled CSS Switching via Javascript depending on the resolution of your browser. This is done so that the fluid width adjusts to the optimal size regardless of the resolution. You can try the same with this great piece of code.

Better Syndication
I hope you have noticed the big blue RSS button on the right. There is also an email subscription form on the right for those who dont use RSS readers. You will be updated with an email every time I make a post here so you can keep updated with the latest content easily. If you havent already subscribed vis RSS or email, please do so now.

Latest Photos
The sidebar now is constantly updated with the latest photos I upload on Flickr. The thumbnails of the 6 newest photos are visible on the sidebar and you can click on each photo to view the full size of it. You can also choose to view my photostream by clicking the appropriate links above and below the photos.

Portfolio
I’ve put together a collection of my best photographs in a flash portfolio which can be viewed here.

Connect
On the sidebar, you can now view links to connect to my profile on other websites, I will also be occasionally adding in my some frequently visited websites.

Mobile version
A dedicated mobile version of the site has also been launched. When you view the website from any mobile phone, you will be shown a version which has been optimized from mobile phones. However, I havent tested this feature yet and I request anyone with internet on their mobile phone to check this.

If you cannot view the new design, please delete your cache and refresh the page. I must warn you that this version is not perfect yet so if you do see any problems/bugs, please do report them to me either by commenting on this post or by emailing me.
