I bought Half Life 2 Episode One yesterday and unfortunately my DVD Drive had to crap out at the same time. I gave it in for repairs since the warranty period had already expired, they technician said it would take atleast 2 days till it got repaired. I certainly couldn’t wait for that long before playing the game so I removed the DVD Drive out of my old computer and plugged it into my new PC. It took around an hour to install the game and I finally got it running after several updates.

The game ran like a charm. The graphics were pretty much like Lost Coast but the gameplay had improved considerably. I’ve already finished about one thirds of the game and I’m sure I’ll be able to finish to soon. The storyline is also going on well and is well written. The commentary system is very useful and interesting, and the sounds in the game are also better.
