Using the Wiimote on my PC

I bought aUSB Bluetooth dongle today for Rs.200 ($4 USD), and after installing all the drivers, I thought that I’d try and use my Wiimote on the PC. I found a simple guide on this and after a few tries, I was successfully able to make both the devices communicate with each other. Then I installed GlovePIE, which is an amazing software for using third-party devices to control your PC. Once I got the Wiimote and GlovePIE talking to each other, I found a whole lot of scripts for GlovePIE and I was able to get many different results with them. I could even hook-up the nunchuk and use it to control the mouse pointer. Once I got familiar with the controls, I tried playing San Andreas with the Wiimote but was only met with limited success. The camera went crazy at first but I was able to stabilize it soon. The gameplay is certainly not acceptable, I think I’ll need a custom script for it to play properly. Anyways, I’ll be doing some more experimenting tomorrow and it hopefully should be smooth.
