Mumbai Nagariya

Posted in News, Travel |

I went to Mumbai yesterday. It was a…uhh….interesting experience. It did have its ups and downs like any other trip but wasn’t very enjoyable. I spent most of the day waiting for something or the other.
The good parts were few. I had a great and delicious lunch. I also got my Schengen VISA successfully and easily.
The bad parts were worse. I missed the first plane back home due to a stupid mistake by Kingfisher Airlines and had to book another plane and came home at 11:30 in the night.

Mumbai is a good city but traffic conditions are BAD. Although there are several polite and good people around, the common man over there is rude and impatient unlike Hyderabad where even the poorest person is kind. In Hyderabad, if I take a photography of a complete stranger on the road, he smiles, but in Mumbai, he frowns. Hell, photography is not allowed in half the places there. I was just walking on the street taking pictures of the building when this watchman pops out of nowhere and asks me to stop taking photographs. The whole city is pretty much filled up with poor rude people and rich snobbish people and only a tiny percent of the people are kind hearted and polite. Mumbai has a lot to improve,
