School and home
School was eventful yesterday. We had the ESPN quiz and as much as I had expected, I did not qualify for the finals. We had to correct the answer sheets of the juniors and we read some of the most bizzare answers ever…..like Bill Gates for sponsoring Manchester and ‘a biscuit factory’ for sponsoring some other team which I dont remember. The highest score was 5/10 and the rest of the qualifiers got 3/10. And all those who qualified were sitting next to each other which pretty much explained why all of them qualified with similar scores and answers.
Then, most of us hung around the SUPW Room doing the project for the 3rd term. We had the cutlets today, so last friday wasnt the last cutlet. We also got a holiday for the Math exam which is a big relief since have of the the class wouldnt have passed without a holiday.
The school buildings are being repainted for the IPSC Athletics tournament which is going to be held from 19th - 21st December. To be honest, none of us like the new color. One can hardly differentiate the light brown from the white. In the words of Fatik Khan - ‘The whole building looks sober now’.
Anyways, now school isnt about the buildings and lunch….the exams are around the corner and its time to wipe the dust off the books and start studying….
