Its not yet 2007 but I don’t care, tbh. I watched ConAir today, loved it. 8/10. I also successfully cracked the first part of “Can you Crack the Enigma Code?“.
And I made a wallpaper for 2007 -

Today morning at around 8:30 when I was watching Jay Leno, a sad incident occurred…….Saddam Hussein, one the greatest dictators of all time, was hung to death at Camp Justice outside Baghdad. Well, now 2007 will certainly be a happy new year for many people around the world.
I do feel sorry for him……even though he was hated by many people, he was the leader of a country and any leader does not deserve to be executed.
No Americans were present at the time of his execution, only Iraqi officials. An official who witnessed the incident said that Hussein died very quickly, almost in the blink of an eye.
He supposedly refused to wear a bag over his head and his last words were “Allahu Akbar.”
Today will be an important day in world history……….

Supposedly, some undersea cables got cut in Taiwan due to some tremors and therefore, my internet speed is slow. Its amazing how our communication system depends on factors which we would have never thought about.
And long live Y.S.Rajshekar Reddy because he’s said that till April, we’ll 5 hours of power cut almost everyday. That means we cant study in the night without generators or emergency lamps. So, if you get bad results in your boards, just blame it on the government. :p

We got some of our papers yesterday and the results were…well….acceptable. The 1st prefinals are finally over now and its time to start studying for the 2nd prefinals. The IPSC went off quite well and lots of people got selected for the Asian Public Schools Conference. I pretty much bored these days. I read ‘Digital Fortress’ for the second time.

Yesterday was the last day of the IPSC Meet. I went and 7:30 in the morning not wanting to miss any event. The 5KM Walk had just started when I reached there and HPS came 1st in this event too. We then had breakfast and quite a few events after that. 100m, Hurdles, Pole Vault, etc…you name it. After sometime I went to the music room for practice for today’s cultural evening which went on *ahem* well.
Lunch was delicious as usual with a wide range of dishes ranging from Paneer Butter Masala to Veg. Machuria. Soon after lunch we returned to the backfield for the most anticipated events, the 400m and 4×100 relay. Vikram came 1st in the 400m, thanks to his practice all year long. HPS came 2nd in the 4×100 relay.
The closing ceremony followed but I couldnt watch it since I had to go back to the music room for practice. Then we took all the equipment to the front field. The cultural events started at around 7 in the night and they were pretty boring so we just walked around taking pictures of school. Then finally, we started playing at 8:30. We werent perfect but we were good. But all the staff members, etc went to dinner when we were playing and we got very feeble feedback from the audience.
After we finished, this dude comes up on stage and dance to 2 songs and he got more cheering than our whole put together. Hehe. We slowly went to dinner which was pretty good but had a small variety if dishes. And I was telling anyone who would listen that I’d stayed for 15 hours in school………
And Happy Birthday Amit!

The opening ceremony was pretty good today. It went off smoothly without any problems. The track events were fun to watch. HPS emerged victorious in the 4*400m and relay and several other events. Lunch was amazing. We had Kheema and lots of other delicious dishes. After lunch, the backfield was pretty much empty except for the participants. We had fun, nevertheless.
I’m having a crazy time trying to get hpsbegumpet.net point to hps.krishnamoorthi.com . I’ve got to pay someone or some company some cash to get the process going which is pissing me off. I pretty confused at this point….I’ll need some time to think it out…….
