Today, Puduk, Daman, Zafar, Sambhav, Bharat and I went for the Hindu Young World quiz. Although none of us qualified for the finals, we all had a great time. After we gave in our answers for the Prelims, the host walked around asking the question of the prelims to the participants and anyone who got the answer right, got some goodies.

Host: Topologically, how is Hyderabad related to the American year of Independance?

(This boy raises his hand eagerly and the host gives him the mic)

Boy: 12.

Host: What is 12?

Boy: Nember (No, its not a typo, its supposed to be number).

This was the funniest of all the answers and there were several funny answers too. We all had a good laugh.
Then there was this guy who gave some presentation and soon enough, we started getting bored. Then al of sudden, Daman started clapping for no reason. Then the whole auditorium started clapping too. We did this around 7 - 8 times and all the times we got a positive response from the audiance. Omg, it was hilarious!!

Since we didnt qualify, we just walked out and left for home….
