The yearly bursting of crackers has started in school as Diwali closes in. We caught a few guys but let them off due to lack of evidence. But this whole ‘Bomb Squad’ business is great fun. Yes, it is tiring, but its a great way to miss those boring classes while actually dong some productive work. Running around catching guys red handed with crackers is probably as fun as it gets.

On the other, I probably made the 50th phone call to my ISP today and I received the same reply of promising to activate my connection with ‘48 hours’. This so-called 48 hours never comes. And, when I called up the bank to confirm the withdrawal of the cheque I was suprised that the whole Customer Care was an automated service. In all the 15 minutes I had been on the phone with the bank, I hadnt even spoken to a single human being. It quite nice to know that automation has reached new levels.
