McDonalds

We had yet another interview at school only for few students though and I,not only happened to one of them but also the first one to be interviewed. I wasnt even expecting it too just having come back from the music room. It was also a kinda advantage since I didnt have to go through the nervous nail biting situation. It went off well imo. We’ll know the results tomorrow anyway.

The RA incident was being blown out of proportion today. I couldnt believe how such a small miniscule incident can be enlarged to such a big commotion. Just hope it all gets back to normal tomorrow…..

I went to McDonalds today. I just coudnt believe my eyes seeing the crowd there. Thank God for the takeaway. The food was nice but nothing spectacular. I’d rather go to KFC considering that its a lot closer to my house.

I just finished a book - Jinn by Matthew B.J. Delaney - It was a really good book. Fast paced with Demons and non human creatures. I loved it a lot although I felt it was a tad bit too long. The mythical stories in the book are also very interesting and relate a lot to the real life. I give it 8/10.

My Day

I had great fun at the party. Thanks a lot to everyone that came. And thanks for the cake, Dhruv. ;) . I hope everyone enjoyed themselves too. I watched Transporter after coming back home…..thanks to Daman for that. Its a great movie. More action packed than the first one. And it was even more enjoyable since it was my birthday. I’d give it a 8 + 0.5 bonus coz its my birthday. :) .Jason Statham is a spectacular actor.

And a great load of thanks to everyone else who gave me a birthday present. And the worst birthday present of all was obviously the fact that I have Accounts exam on monday and I am no mood for that.

I’ve got lots of stuff to do in the upcoming week. I just hope that I get all of ‘em finished……..

And God bless all the 6 billion people today……..

My 16th Birthday

Time: 12:01 AM.

Date: 15th July 2006

Location: Home

I had just returned back from a party and was about doze off to sleep when the clock at home rang twelve. I then realised that it had been sixteen years………all of them spent in joy. It gave a fuzzy feeling all over. I slowly went to sleep and I got woken up my by Dad wishing me happy birthday. I lazed around happily in bed reading a book taking complete advantage of the day just like I had done in the past years.

Yesterday, we came 3rd in the girls cross country and nagarjuna came first again. God, they do piss me off sometimes. One day……….life will be a lot different for Nagarjuna…..

And, all birthday presents for me can be sent to my Paypal A/C -

How the X-Men die?!?!

Thats whay we were discussing in class today as to what would happen to them when they become old and how they would die. It was great fun and I was practically acting out each scene related to each character. I’m planning to make a short cartoon on this, I hope I make it soon. It all, infact, started when I drew three lines on the board and exclaimed ‘Wolverine’ which went on and on to a whole list of all the X-Men, heh.

We had loads of fun in school today too as usual. But since the Interhouse Matches are only on Saturdays, life has become a bit slow in school. I guess the girls cross country tomorrow will cheer things up a bit. :)

Let it Be

I was just listening to this classic song by ‘The Beatles’. It’s a beautiful evergreen song. I never quite got sick of it. Today, we had to get the 10ths out of their classes to go for marching and, boy, it was soo pissing off. I mean, those guys were so lazy that they would rather sit joblessly in the class or run away rather than march. Anyway, in the end, we got them to march.

I watched ‘Daniel Defoe’s Robinson Crusoe’ today. It’s a very well taken movie and one of a kind. Pierce Brosnan’s acting in the movie is just spectacular. The scene when Friday dies is highly sentimental. I just loved the movie. I would give it 8.5/10. A muct watch for any human being. It shows you the other side of life which we would ignore in our daily life.

And some news too,

Guess thats all for now…….

PS: The Mumbai bomb blasts of yesterday were very tragic. My regards to the families of the people who lost their lives.

World Cup and New Theme

First of all, I have changed the theme of the website to a completely new look. I hope everyone likes the new feel.

And then, Italy won the FIFA World Cup 2006 much to my dismay since I had a few bets on France with my friends. And Zidane’s headbutt came quite out of nowhere. Few of my friends have been talking about the mafia’s intrusion into the game which might be true. Especially since Italy is where the Godfather is based. Well, this is just our theory, you might have a different view to it.

School was just awesome today. We had amazing fun in the free periods at the expense of others. Hehe…….

The Freshers Party

With a great anticipation, it finally took off at around 9 with people pouring in the primary school. I had expected the place to be more crowded though. The dance floor seemed quite packed which was quite unusual. Since Sanjana and I had decided the menu, I was happy that people were satisified with the food. Though there were a few mistakes here and there, the whole food and related processes went off smoothly. The DJ wasnt anything special and played a few lame songs too which raised a cry of disapproval from the crowd. A lot of old and new faces were seen and it was like a reunion for the old students too. We had remote monitoring though with the teachers popping in every now and then. The Photographer there pissed some people off though with the blinding flash which would temporarily blind you for around 2 secs. We then, infact, started running away from him eventually. Hehe. Then, at around 11:30, the teachers popped back in and started out to send us all out. So, with a final say of words, pictures clicked and the Freshers Party had officially come to a finish.

Presesting……….the Cross Country

I was halfway through the race and my shoelace got untied. I sweared out loud and bent down to tie them. Then when I got up again, everything was black although it was a bright sunny day. I thought I had died……even before completing the race. Then slowly everything came back into my view and I regained confidence and continued to tread on, only to see that 10 other guys were taking a short cut of atleat 300m. Well, cheaters well always exist but I continued on my path……I ran to the finish……slowly but I had finished it…….with 27 points for my house….. I almost cried when they announced that Nalanda came third. If I wasnt half dead then, I would have got up….ran….and killed the smug off their laughing faces with…..I dont know……….by probably throwing a fuckin’ bomb on theit face.

Well, what has to happen will happen……..and this year Nalanda will have the glory of winning the all round shield…………

Life goes on……

After two days of horrendous rain, I was very happy to see the bright yellow sun greet me in the morning. The dramatic climate change had caused a change in my health too. I was very very tired yesterday and just rolled on the bed after coming back from school. Well, the new climate is in my favour now. Thanks to God for that. We’ve been having a tremendous amout of free periods of late and also the Investiture pratice is now in full swing which means that school life just got a whole lot better. Today, Taxila[Green] scored the highest number of goals ever in the history of the Hyderabad Public School beating Vijaynagar[Yellow] in Seniors Hockey with an astonishing score of 12 - 1. :D . History has been made once more and I hope this record will continue to remain unbroken for atleast a decade…………
